After having been employed by a large home health agency in West Tennessee, Sherry and Betty earned respect in the communities as nurse managers and administrators. Noticing that their clients lacked care that could be performed by non-medical staff, Sherry and Betty started Sitters and More, Inc. With much determination and effort, they opened their doors November 15th 1999. The first office was a small, one room office with a phone and a fax. Committed to do a great service for anyone who called, Betty and Sherry staffed many jobs themselves over west and sometimes middle Tennessee.

As word traveled around west Tennessee of this much needed agency Sitters and More grew quickly.

In March 2001, they hired 2 more staff members to complete the corporate office. Merrie McQueen is responsible for billing and collections. Sherry Brooks is responsible for payroll and payables.

In April of 2001 the first office opened in Goodlettsville and December 2001 the second branch in Franklin opened.

January 2003 the Franklin office and the Goodlettsville office combined in Brentwood. We needed a better location that was close to the interstate and central to all of Middle Tennessee.

Sitters and More, inc is a thriving company of 350 people. We are committed to serve all of West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee keeping in mind that the best success in providing care is to be involved with the family and client.
